Concrete Pour Takeoff Worksheet

Log every slab, footing, and pier on one sheet, total the volume, and record what you ordered and what arrived.

Concrete is the least forgiving material to under-order, because a short load becomes a cold joint rather than a second trip. This sheet keeps every element of a pour in one column of volumes so nothing gets counted twice or left out, and it records the order alongside the delivery so a shortfall can be traced afterwards.

How to fill it in

  1. Fill in the mix specification first — strength, slump, and aggregate size — so the supplier conversation is a single call.
  2. List every element separately, even small piers. Depth is in inches; the volume column is in cubic feet.
  3. Total the cubic feet, divide by 27 for cubic yards, then apply the waste factor.
  4. Round to the supplier's increment, usually a quarter yard, and note the short-load threshold.
  5. After the pour, write down what actually discharged. That figure is what makes your next estimate better.
